🌄 A Landmark of Hope at Mount Olympog 🌿

Today, we proudly held the ribbon cutting ceremony of the bamboo-crafted End Polio Now hillside installation — a meaningful project initiated by PAG Yelcy Catulpos and realized through the collective efforts of the Rotary Club of Dadiangas.

Located at Mount Olympog, General Santos City, this eco-inspired installation stands as a powerful reminder of Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio and promote sustainable, nature-based advocacy.

Every day, hundreds of hikers and tourists capture this landmark — a living symbol of hope, unity, and service above self.

Located at the foot of Mt. Matutum in Barangay Kablon, Tupi, South Cotabato, within Euphoria Flower Farm & Adventure Park, this breathtaking floral installation spells out “END POLIO NOW” in vibrant red and yellow blooms — a living symbol of Rotary’s global mission.

A project of the Rotary Club of Dadiangas, it stands as a landmark of hope and advocacy, visited and photographed by thousands of tourists each day.
Amid the beauty of nature and the majestic view of Mt. Matutum, it powerfully reminds every visitor that together, we can grow a world free from polio and truly Unite for Good.

Together, we will END POLIO!

It’s End Polio Day today!

Today marks World Polio Day, a global observance established by Rotary International to raise awareness, renew commitment, and mobilize action for a polio-free world.

At the Euphoria Flower Farm and Adventure Park in Tupi, South Cotabato, the Rotary Club of Dadiangas proudly unveils a living symbol of this mission — the “End Polio Now” Garden Installation.

Carved into the hillside and grown from vibrant blooms, this installation reminds us that just as each plant thrives with care, every child deserves the nurturing protection of a polio vaccine.

Here, amidst nature’s beauty, we are reminded that:
• Growth represents hope — a world where no child suffers from a preventable disease.
• The garden signifies life and renewal, reflecting Rotary’s enduring promise to heal, serve, and protect.
• Every bloom is a pledge — to continue the fight until the last case of polio is gone forever.

As we celebrate World Polio Day, we unite under Rotary’s call to “Unite for Good.”
Let this garden bloom not just with flowers, but with faith that together, we can truly make history — and make polio a disease of the past.

The much-anticipated 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨 lit up the streets of General Santos City last October 18, 2025, as runners, advocates and supporters came together for a shared mission to run with heart and make a difference.

This event is organized by the Rotary Clubs of Area 2FGH of Rotary District 3860, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Dadiangas in partnership with AllHome Gensan & JeroJera Runners Club

This year’s event drew hundreds of participants across multiple race categories from the fun 5K run to the more challenging 10K and 16K distances. Each stride carried a deeper meaning, as the event championed both health and humanitarian causes, with proceeds directed toward the End Polio Now global campaign of Rotary International.

With hearts full and spirits high, our event stands as a reminder that when we run together, we can go farther for health, for humanity and hope for a world free from polio.
