WHAT IS THE BAI FOUNDATION? AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
BATTLE AGAINST IGNORANCE FOUNDATION
They believe "ignorance" is the greatest destruction to the community, society and the country. Thus the foundation name.
They spread awareness on the dangers of drug abuse, most specially to the youth, and make them understand the consequences of making wrong, uninformed choices by conducting drug abuse awareness symposiums and thru social and mainstream media.
They offer scholarships to deserving substance abusers who are willing to give recovery a chance.
They help the community and nation, as a whole, by rescuing the neglected homeless street dwellers, mendicants, beggars, and those suffering from psychosis, and bring them to a treatment facility (Safehaven Recovery Village in Talamban, Cebu) where they are sheltered, fed, examined and treated by doctors and psychiatrist, and undergo a recovery program and training (for those psychologically capable).
With the help of Battle Against Ignorance Foundation they are no longer hopeless "eyesores" and are welcomed with open arms in a safe, caring environment.
