On December 3, 2025, the DOH–Camarines Sur Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, together with the Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, Inc., brought together students from across the province for a meaningful Film Showing at the USI Auditorium in celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2025. The event featured a selection of short films from past Short Film Festivals, each sharing real and relatable stories about the realities of substance use and the ripple effects it can have on individuals, families, and communities. After the screening, students openly shared their thoughts and reflections, creating a thoughtful exchange of ideas that highlighted how awareness and prevention begin with understanding and dialogue.
Guided by the theme “Sa bagong Pilipinas, kalusugan ay pinapahalagahan, droga ay inaayawan,” the activity sought not only to inform but also to inspire the youth to take part in promoting a drug-free and supportive environment in their own schools. A total of 424 participants from eleven schools—including Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, Inc., Del Rosario National High School, Balatas National High School, CamSur International School, Inc., San Isidro National High School, Naga City School of Arts and Trades, Rodriguez National High School, San Antonio National High School, Milaor National High School, Divine Mercy National High School, and Camaligan National High School—joined the event, making the event a vibrant and engaging space for learning and reflection.
