Sarong Banggui Dance Troupe SBDT aims to develop self-confidence, skills, attitude, love for the culture and arts of Domingueños. Gregorio. In 2011, Mighty Dominicans IV of Sto.

Sarong Banggui Dance Troupe was named after the renowned classical love song “SARUNG BANGGI” composed by Potenciano V. The group already performed in various events and competitions with some remarkable achievements and awards. They once performed in Visit Philippines 2003 – to represent the rich culture of Sto. Domingo at Intramuros, Manila and was unofficially called Sarung Banggi Dance Troupe.

Domingo National High School (SDNHS) was declared champion over college competitors in 1st OK FM Pep Squad Competition at Embarcadero de Legazpi. In 2012, the Mighty Dominicans V won the 1st place in Cheering Squad Competition during the Intramurals ’12 in SDNHS. The group defended their title in the said competition in 2013 and was renamed as Sarung Banggi Pep Squad. In 2014, Sarung Banggi Pep Squad with another set of members from SDNHS competed in Governor’s Cup 2014 Pep Squad Competition for Secondary Level at Albay Astrodome and was declared 2nd runner up. The same group also won 4th placer during the Embarcadero Super Pep Squad. After the victory of Barangay San Rafael in 2014 Sarung Banggi Festival Street Dance Competition, we to reclaim and give life to SARONG BANGGUI DANCE TROUPE. The group was officially founded in the year 2014, SBDT joined the Gayon Bicol Pastores 2014 during the Karangahan Green Christmas Festival at Legazpi City and won the 3rd prize. By now, the SBDT is composed of 45 promising and talented dancers and stage performers aim to develop self-confidence, skills, and positive attitude of every young performer in the community of Sto. Domingo, Albay.

Sa bahagi ng tagpong, “Ang Mag-Agom” ng Poten: Life and Works of Potenciano Gregorio, itinampok ang mga magulang ni Potenciano Gregorio na sina Canuta Valladolid at Narciso Gregorio—ang pamilyang pinagmulan ng mga ugat, pagpapahalaga, at pagkataong humubog kay Poten.

Binigyang-buhay ang tagpong ito noong Mayo 19, 2026, sa Plaza Pugad Lawin, sa pamamagitan ng Pad-um, isang tradisyonal na ritwal ng pag-aalay at pasasalamat para sa biyaya ng lupa. Sa pagtatanghal, nagsilbi itong makapangyarihang paalala ng pananampalataya, pamana, at ugnayan ng tao sa kalikasan.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐍 | 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗞𝗜, 𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗞 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗨𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗡𝗜 𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗔

Isang makulay at makabagbag-damdaming pagtatanghal ng kulturang Bicolano ang nasilayan sa Poten: Life and Works of Potenciano Gregorio, na ginanap noong Mayo 19, 2026, sa Plaza Pugad Lawin. Sa pagtatanghal na ito, muling nabuhay ang alaala ni Potenciano Gregorio at mas naipakita kung paano patuloy na nagiging bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan ang sining, musika, at tradisyong Bicolano.

Isa sa mga pinakatumatak na tagpo ng dula ang harana at panliligaw ni Poten kay Dominga, kung saan tampok ang Sinakiki, isang masiglang sayawing pambayan mula sa isla ng Rapu-Rapu, Albay, na nagdala ng saya, lambing, at buhay sa entablado. Hindi lamang musika at galaw ang ipinakita rito, kundi pati ang kaba, kilig, at pagnanais na mapasagot ang minamahal. Sa bawat hakbang at kumpas, mas naging malapit sa damdamin ng manonood ang kuwento ni Poten, isang kuwento ng pagmamahal, pagkamalikhain, at pagpapahalaga sa sariling kultura, na para ring salamin ng mga simpleng ligawan at pagdiriwang sa ating mga komunidad.
