*WBA TERM 2 PRIORITY BOOKINGS*

Priority bookings for Term 2 2026 are now available!

If your child was registered in our Term 1 academy and would like to continue in Term 2 please message or email us to secure your spot. 🔒

Priority bookings will close Monday 23rd March at which point any remaining spots will be made available to waiting participants.

If your child did not participate in Term 1 & you would like to register them for our Term 2 2026 academy please email us & we can add you to the wait list until priority bookings are confirmed.
This is run on a first in first served basis. 🎾

Our Term 2 program will be running for 9 weeks from 20th April until 29th June! (We do not operate on public holidays - Anzac Day April 27th & Kings Birthday June 1st)⛹️

Welcome to the Woodend Basketball Academy! 🏀

We provide a dynamic program that balances skill development, teamwork & character building helping kids grow both as players and individuals. ⚖️

Our experienced coaches focus on teaching fundamental basketball skills - such as dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense and footwork - through engaging drills and age appropriate training techniques. ⛹️‍♀️⛹️

Each skill is introduced progressively, allowing children to build confidence, enhance coordination, and develop a deeper understanding of the game. 💯

As young athletes progress, we also introduce game strategy, positioning and awareness creating well rounded players who understand the value of discipline and hard work. We aim to make basketball fun while cultivating confidence, resilience, and a love for the game. 💚🖤

Join us to develop skills, make friends, and take the next step towards becoming a future star! ⭐️

The Woodend Basketball Academy is a 10 week program depending on how many weeks fall into each given term of that school year. We operate all year round through terms 1-4 beginning on the first week of each Term.

Age groups: (Boys & Girls Mixed)
Years 3&4 - Monday 3:45 - 4:30pm
Years 5&6 - Monday 4:35 - 5:20pm
Years 7&8 - Monday 5:25 - 6:10pm

Where: Woodend Community Centre - 6 School Road, Woodend. (Across the road from Woodend School.)

Cost: $140.00 per term. (Based on a 10 week Term.)

Once your child has been booked in for a full term you will be given priority booking for the following term if you wish to continue. 🔒

⭐️ A BIG THANK YOU!! ⭐️

I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all the parents & players who’ve supported the Woodend Basketball Academy this year! Coaching your kids has been an absolute privilege, seeing their growth, confidence and love for the game has been a huge highlight! 🏀💙

Over the past few months I’ve received some truly amazing messages from parents & I can’t explain how much they mean. To hear your children are thriving, enjoying the academy & the sessions are making a difference is a massive part of why building this academy has been so rewarding!💯

If you would like to register your child for an age group that has spaces available get in contact & we can send you a registration form to fill out.

If you would like to register your child for an age group that is currently at capacity get in contact & we can add you to the waitlist for our Term 4 academy.

Priority bookings for Term 4 will be made available to our current participants during week 4 of Term 3. We will post a reminder closer to the time!
