We have engaged Kelly, Julian and Billielaine from Peace in Mind Ltd to provide mirimiri, strapping and wellbeing support onsite. They will be based in the old Kohanga behind the grandstand.
They will be here to provide the following:
• Mirimiri/bodywork, basic strapping and sideline support
• Use of Rongoā balms and oils for joint/muscle discomfort
• A quiet, safe space for wairua and hinengaro support, including whitiwhiti kōrero and karakia where appropriate
• Simple sign-in/consent processes
Their focus is to awhi:
• Tamariki and rangatahi who are playing throughout the day
• Kaumātua and kuia who may benefit from mirimiri and a calmer space
• Players, coaches, managers and whānau who need support to safely continue - or safely stop - if injuries or fatigue arise.
