Nelson Dressage NZ - Online Dressage Competition 2026

07/10/2026

Don’t forget entries are open for the second and third competitions of the series, it’s not too late to join! If you have already entered the series, no need to enter again 😀

If you would like to enter just one of the competitions that’s great too and we also have Test of Choice available for those wanting to pick any test to ride and get detailed feedback from the judge.

you asked for a series, and we are doing a series!

Entries close 15 August 2026 - To enter just send us a message and pay the entry fee. Filming for #1 competition is 16 August - 16 September 2026, other dates are in the poster below.

We will have OVERALL series Champion and Reserve Champion physical Rosettes or Sashes for each level. Each individual competition will have our usual beautiful virtual rosettes for placings 1st-6th for each level.

Any questions please just ask : )

Now that the first show is done and dusted, we’ll get the teams results out so far, but first we need to know everyone’s areas. If everyone can either comment below or pop it on messenger which dressage group you belong to please.

If you’re not a usual dressage member of a group, just let us know where you live (roughly) and we’ll add you to the nearest group

If you’ve already given this information, gold star ⭐️

That’s a wrap for the 1st competition of our series. Just remember it’s not too late to join in for #2 and #3!

We did decide to do champion and reserve champion (real life) ribbons for the overall series at each level. We are looking for some sponsors to help us achieve this. It would be $50 sponsorship a class (we have 11 classes) to cover the championship and reserve ribbons and postage to the winners.

We would put you or your business name on the ribbons, name the class after you for the series and do a social media post promoting you or your business. Please send us a private message if you are keen to support our riders and series.

Thank you everyone for your support, videos and enthusiasm to give this a go 🤩

Okay just the Novice class results to go and these will be out tomorrow. There are quite a few Mother Daughter competitors and we’re thinking of a wee prize for the highest point or most improved combo at the end of the series 🤭

The regional Dressage Royale Cup is looking competitive and we will update on how each region is going this week.

If you did enjoy giving the competition a go, please share our page and encourage others to join in! We have 2 competitions still to go in this series so plenty of time to still participate.

We are running these as a fun and easily accessible competition for anyone at all levels as a fundraiser for our club : )

Thanks for all of your support.
