Hey locals! đźš’

We're rallying together alongside Rumpus Machine this Sunday to support our Matakana Volunteer Fire Brigade and we'd love our community to get behind them!

Even if you can't make it along, a $5 contribution would mean so much.

Every dollar from ticket sales goes directly to the Brigade, supporting the incredible volunteers who give so much of their time to look after our community.

So even if you can't join us, jump online, grab a $5 ticket and show your support.

Let's get behind those who are always there for us! ❤️

This is Strangely Arousing, live horns, deep dub and reggae groove, and a sound that raids Cat Empire swagger, Fat Freddy’s Drop low end, Snarky Puppy chops and Mingus jazz theory, then makes it entirely their own.

Over a decade deep, and playing live in Matakana this Friday!

Early Birds gone. GA on sale now.
With support from The RVMES, this is going to be a serious knees-up.

Doors at 6.30PM. Come on down for the party!

Friday night, The Stables Matakana is turning into its own mini festival, and you’re invited.

Strangely Arousing headline with a full horn section, deep basslines, loose jazz improvisation and groove that moves through dub, reggae, funk and jazz. It’s a live band in the fullest sense, horns, rhythm section, the works, and the energy is seriously infectious.

The RVMES open with alt-rock energy and basslines that hit hard, built to get the crowd warmed up and moving before the main set even starts. If you caught them earlier this year, you already know what we mean, so spread the word!

Summer vibes arriving early at The Stables Matakana.
