Each year a small group of volunteers put on a Christmas Parade and Market in Lincoln, Canterbury. The parade starts at the events centre and makes it's way down Gerald Street (the Main
Street of Lincoln) . Local groups and organisations enter floats in the parade. Prizes are given for the best floats. In this Main Street there is a market that runs from 9am in the morning until 12pm. There is a wide range of entertainment including Bands, Santa's Grotto, clowns and a "dress up your bike" competition. If you are keen to enter a float or are keen to help please see details below.
