📣 RAS Eastern District AGM 2026

Hello Team,

It’s that time of year again and our 2026 Eastern District AGM is coming up.

As per previous years, any show that submits a report and has a representative attend the meeting will receive $100 sponsorship.

Due to increasing fuel costs, this year’s AGM will be held online via Zoom, making it easy for everyone to attend.

Please ensure all reports are emailed through before the meeting so the minutes can be completed promptly once we finish.

📣 Practice Day Update 🐴

Hi everyone,

We’re very sorry to let you know that our Working Hunter Practice Day scheduled for this Sunday has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, entry numbers are too low to justify the effort of getting all the jumps out of storage and setting everything up. A cross country practice day was announced after we confirmed our new date and, understandably, we can’t compete with the variety the equestrian park is able to offer.

All entries will receive a full refund.

The good news is we will be hosting two practice days in the lead up to our HB A&P Show, so there will still be opportunities to get out and have a run before the big event.

We have heard you, and we have listened! 🐴✨

With Express Eventing on this Sunday, we know many of you won’t be able to make our practice day, so we’ve made the call to push our Jumping & Flat Training Day back by one week to give everyone the best chance to attend.

✅ NEW DATE: Sunday 1st March 2026
🕘 9:00am – 11:00am
📍 Tomoana Showgrounds (exact spot TBC)

This will be a great opportunity to get your horse or pony out, whether you’re keen to jump or just want a ride around and get some practice in a fun, low-key environment.

⭐ Jumps range from 60cm – 105cm

Horses and ponies are all welcome, and horses are welcome to jump the smaller pony jumps too — we’re all about encouraging more people to come along and give Working Hunter a go!

We’ll also be running Working Hunter practice classes and some flat practice fun classes just before 11am. Bring your horse, have a round, or simply practice riding a workout in a group.

Ride-around fee: $35
Jump fee: $50
