Kia ora whānau,

As we wrap up Season 2, we want to give a massive mihi to our incredible academies across Aotearoa

Tao Matarau Junior Darts Academies NZ
Te Aro Putahi Darts Academy
Manawatu Matatahi Darts Academy

Your hard mahi, commitment, and belief in our junior pathway continue to shine through every week. It’s been awesome watching our academy members having fun, backing themselves, and growing in confidence as they learn the sport of darts. The smiles, the friendships, the determination — that’s what this kaupapa is all about.

A special shout‑out to all the tamariki and rangatahi who upgraded this season. What an achievement. Your effort, consistency, and willingness to learn have paid off. We’re proud of every single one of you.

To our coaches, volunteers, parents, and supporters — thank you for creating safe, positive spaces where our young players can thrive.

Season 2 has been something special, and we can’t wait to see what Season 3 brings for our JDC NZ whānau.

Kia ora whānau

What an incredible weekend for junior darts in Aotearoa. To all the rangatahi who stepped up across the four JDC NZ Tour Events, you were absolutely outstanding. We’re proud of every single one of you, not just for the darts you threw, but for the respect, kindness, and sportsmanship you showed one another on and off the oche. That’s what truly sets this pathway apart.

A massive mihi to the Kapi Mana Darts Association for welcoming us into your club and allowing us to host Tour Events 3–6 in your whare. Your support and hospitality mean more than you know, and we’re grateful for everything you do for our junior players.

The level of darts across the weekend was unreal, with some tight battles, big moments, and plenty of growth from our young athletes. We’re already buzzing for the next stop on the tour in Gisborne for Events 7 & 8 in June.

Attached is the updated JDC NZ Tour Event Order of Merit following the completion of Event 6.

Keep an eye on our page for updates on the next event and the upcoming registration details. Plenty more exciting mahi ahead for our junior darting whānau.
