How baa-rilliant that our Big Shauns are getting brought to life by so many amazing artists!

We can't wait to share them all with ewe on the trail starting 16 January next year.

Soooo…….at the start of the year I set some goals. And one of my goals was to submit some designs in the hope that one might be selected to paint a Wild in Art sculpture. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect I’d be painting two…… plus a mini Shaun at school too!!

We’ve just picked up our latest house guest. Welcome to the family Shaun. Buckle up. It’s going to be a busy term!

Last week our Trail Partners chose their designs, this week our amazing artists start bringing them to life!

We're woolly excited to see what becomes of our naked Big Shauns 😉

My new friend Shaun has been herded into my garage!!! Argh, I can’t believe my design was chosen and I get to paint and whole freakin statue?!?! Safe to say Master 5 is super excited about our new roomy. Stay tuned for sneak peaks as I bring this Shaun to life for the The Big Sheep Trail - Ōtautahi Christchurch for Big Brothers Big Sisters Christchurch charity!!! I cannot wait!!!!

As you might know The Big Sheep Trail is all about bringing our city together while supporting the mahi of youth mentoring charity Big Brothers Big Sisters of Christchurch. And right now, there’s a very easy way to help them out.

One of their mentors, Craig Ogilvie, has been named as a finalist in the Westfield Riccarton Local Heroes programme.

Craig gives an incredible amount of his time to BBBS, from advocating and fundraising to volunteering at events. He also knows mentoring firsthand. Craig is currently a Big Brother to Bailey, has previously mentored Justice for five years, their Board Co-Chair, AND he’s even worked as a BBBS Mentoring Coordinator!

Now it’s our turn to get behind him. Your vote could help bring $20,000 to BBBS Christchurch, supporting more life-changing mentoring relationships for tamariki and rangatahi across Ōtautahi.
