Still buzzing over the Albany Toyota Hilux! They surprised us with a full wrap – you definitely won’t miss it cruising around Chrome!
They’ve also hooked us up with a recovery Hilux and a media Highlander for the weekend. Huge thanks to Liz and the team – keep an eye out for her tearing it up on the Hampton Downs pad tomorrow!

Here's your full UPDATED schedule for this weekend!
REMINDER: if you missed the announcement, Drag Racing and Pro Burnouts / SUMMERNATS Burnouts are postponed until Saturday 13th September due the Meremere venue flooding.
Hampton Downs is still going ahead as planned, all three days, with the additional Burnout Comp added on Saturday afternoon (3:30pm-5:30pm).

ATTENTION! PRO BURNOUTS BURNOUT COMP AND DRAG RACING POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER!
After talking with a number of drivers overnight – especially those travelling from afar – and working with Meremere Dragway, we’ve locked in a new date of Saturday 13th September for the Pro Burnout Series / Summernats Competition, as well as the originally planned Drag Racing.
This change allows us to deliver the level of action you expect from a Chrome event, as well as the premium spectator viewing Meremere offers.
WE WILL STILL BE RUNNING A SMALLER COMP FOR THE BURNOUT PROS AT HAMPTON DOWNS, judged by Matt, with cash and prizes up for grabs. This is the perfect chance to get valuable feedback ahead of the big September comp! This comp will be run at approximately 3:30-5:30pm
Plus, the Hampton Downs burnout pad will be open ALL WEEKEND for casual burnouts.
And drifters – don’t worry, this does not affect your track time. The club circuit will be open as planned.
All burnout entrants who haven’t requested a refund are welcome to still join us this weekend at Hampton Downs and will automatically be entered into the new September date.
ALL OTHER HAMPTON DOWNS ACTIVITIES ARE STILL GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED!
