PENELOPE LANE makes it look easy in the Group 3 The Dark Horse Mares Handicap Trot at Invercargill this evening 🏆

A great front-running drive from Brad Williamson saw him control the race from the lead before cruising to an impressive victory, giving him Group 3 success as both trainer and driver!

Last year's winner Princess Sadie finished second, with Dynasty taking third.

A fantastic result for owner and breeder Michelle Caig! 👏

Congratulations to you all!

A double milestone for ALICIA HARRISON at Cambridge Raceway tonight! 🎉👏

Alicia celebrated her first training success AND her 100th New Zealand driving win in the same race, guiding Rebel Castleton to victory!

An extra special win with the estate of her late grandfather, Warren Taylor, also in the ownership of Rebel Castleton.

A special night to remember.

Congratulations Alicia! 🥳

Royal Belle chases her fourth consecutive victory in the new Metropolitan Tiara Series, while Ward Lamon is out to make it three in a row since joining Peter and Mitchell Robertson's stable.

Both have impressed since arriving at their new home, although a tricky draw could make things interesting for Royal Belle.

The dual-gaited mare has shown plenty of toughness when trotting, and Bob Butt is hoping she can put it all together over the 2200m.

Reigning champion Princess Sadie is also back looking to defend her title!

Sam Thornley heads to Addington tonight with a strong book of six drives and a few good chances of adding to his winning tally.

Two of his drives are set to start as short-priced favourites, including Ben From Accounts, who he also trains, while Don't Tell Jenny returns from a lengthy spell with plenty of ability.
