This is where it really starts.
Before this, ashtrays are installed in public spaces and events. Then comes collection and sorting.
Cigarette butts mixed with plastic, dirt, everything.
Messy, manual, real. Just the beginning.

After months of silence, we’re back 👩‍🔬

Not with something new, but with what was always there.

From waste… to process… to material.

What you see here is not just a result. It’s a transformation ✨️
Collected by hand. Sorted, cleaned, experimented.

Between each step: time, trials and careful observation.

PuriFungi was never just about objects. It’s about changing how we see waste ♻️ And what we choose to do with it.

We started creating our iconic medium ashtray made from mycelium grown on cigarette butts 6 years ago 🥳 Throwback to the early days, making the first molds and carefully growing those 🍄 step by step!
