MY EXPERIENCE RECENTLY AS AN APPLICANT
Some CEOs and Agents can be so wicked to applicants I don't want to call the name of the firm and agent, as an applicant I was called for a job opening recently by the agent I registered with(registration fee with the agent 10k and their percentage for the first pay is 50%) for a managerial position after I entered the interview room the CEO asked what position I'm in for I said Manager then he said that position is occupied that the only positions available are supervisor and payroll officer I said if that's the case i will go for a supervisor the next thing he told me is that I can't just be a supervisor I have to start as a payroll officer then I can be promoted to supervisor since I don't know anything about the work yet just because I have been jobless for a long time I accepted, after the interview i asked the CEO the conditions of the work of which he told me salary is 55k, 5k go for HMO, I will under go a training for two weeks (14 days) without pay and it's a shift work when I heard shift I was a bit happy because i hasn't done a shift work in my entire life hoping I will have little time for myself to rest not knowing there are more to the work that he never revealed until i started asking questions from old workers when I started the training then I discovered there is nothing like HMO,there is no manager position existing in the firm and they have supervisor already, the supervisor started telling me I will be coming to work from Monday's to Sunday's in the morning from 7am to 6pm daily when i heard Sundays my head burst ,there will be a shift when I will work at night from Monday's to Sunday's(6pm to 11pm) and another set of workers will take over from (1am to 7am), and after the 14 days training then I will start work fully 15th of April if I'm been taken as a worker and my working day will start counting from 15th of April to 15th of May which makes it a month when I will be paid my first salary that means I will work for 45 days before i will receive my first pay and my tp daily is #500 and agent will collect 50% of the 50k and I will be on probation for three months before I will be given appointment letter, I discovered too they don't observe public holidays because this happened during the Easter break and the training they were talking about is the major work oh because I was already invited to the place when the supervisor put me through on what to do and what the work is all about before i received an official SMS to start training on 1st of April, on the first day on training I called the agent that I don't like the work that the conditions of the work are too much for me they should find me another one the lady who answered the call said I should just manage for the first month that they are going to look for another one i said ok since you promised to get me another one no problem but after the 4th day of the training it occurred to me that the agent(lady) was encouraging me to do the first month because of their 50% then i placed a call to her and I asked if you collect your 50% for the first month in this very firm will you still collect another 50% when you find me another work the next thing is that she's busy she doesn't have time for such discussion yet that I should come to their office, na once I carry my back tell the supervisor say i no work again, applicants are passing through a lot in this country
