Other School are expected between 6:30am to 8am on Saturday 18th November 2023.

The Chairman of GCU Relays Committee, Mr Ejiro Omonode, this morning presented spikes, running shoes, track suits and other sporting items donated by Sir Joseph Arumemi-Ikhide for the use of GCU students.

In all, 10 pairs of running shoes(spikes, Track suits, Vests, shorts & socks were presented at a ceremony in the school.

Omonode advised the school authority to monitor the use of the items adding that it should be a motivation for the students to do better.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Mrs Cynthia Okporoma, Head of Sports, said: “We are grateful for the items, it is what we have always yearned for.”
