One of the biggest questions when planning an event is: “How many drinks will be enough for my guests?”

Here’s a simple way to calculate drinks for 200 people with a little extra for surprise guests.

↪️ Step 1: Estimate Average Consumption

On average, each guest takes 3–4 drinks during an event (especially weddings that last hours).

For 200 guests:
200 × 4 = 800 drinks (minimum)

↪️ Step 2: Mix of Drinks

Here’s a balanced breakdown you can use:

Water 40% (≈ 320 bottles)

Soft Drinks 25% (≈ 200 bottles)

Alcohol 5% (40 bottles)

Malt 15% (≈ 120 bottles)

Juice 15% (≈ 120 packs/bottles)

(If alcohol/wine is included, reduce juice/soft drinks slightly.)

🛡 Step 3: Add Extra for Safety

Always plan for 10–15% more in case of uninvited guests or higher demand.

So for 200 guests add about 80–100 drinks extra.

📦 Final Estimate for 200 Guests

Water: ~350 bottles

Soft Drinks: ~220 bottles

Alcoholic drinks: (optional 40 bottles)

Malt: ~130 bottles

Juice: ~130 packs

👉 Total = About 900 drinks (safe & enough).

It’s always better to have a little extra than to run out when the party is still on. Plus, unopened crates can be returned or saved
