-EID-EL-KABIR HOMAGE TO THE THRONE AND PEOPLE OF OROLU KINGDOM-
To
His Imperial Majesty,
The Aremo Obatala of the Universe,
Alayeluwa Oba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola, Akinyooye III,
The Olufon of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom,
Deputy Chairman, Osun State Council of Obas,
Olufon's Royal Palace, Ifon-Osun.
And to the esteemed sons and daughters of Orolu Kingdom, at home and in the diaspora,
As the crescent ushers in Eid-el-Kabir, the Festival of Sacrifice, I offer my profound salutations to the revered custodian of our heritage and to the illustrious lineage of Orolu.
Eid-el-Kabir stands as a timeless meditation on faith, submission, and the transcendence of self for a higher ideal, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It calls us to introspection, to the cultivation of communal virtue, and to the reaffirmation of the bonds that bind a people to their history, their monarch, and to one another.
Under Your Imperial Majesty’s sagacious stewardship, Orolu Kingdom continues to embody the ideals of unity, dignity, and cultural continuity. It is in this spirit that I urge all sons and daughters of the kingdom to embrace the ethos of sacrifice, compassion, and collective progress that this sacred occasion demands.
May the blessings of this season fortify the throne, elevate the people, and preserve the peace and prosperity of Orolu Kingdom. May Almighty Allah accept our acts of devotion, grant wisdom to our leadership, and strengthen the cordiality that defines our heritage.
I wish Your Imperial Majesty, the royal household, and all indigenes of Orolu a serene, joyous, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir.
Barka de Sallah!
