The Ijaw Forum, Adamo, on December 26, 2025, hosted the 7th Annual Ijaw Culture Promoters Party and invited the Ijaw Initiative Movement to be part of the celebration.

The Ijaw Initiative Movement joined in the celebration, reaffirming its commitment to unity, as unifying the Ijaw Nation remains uppermost.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

Today, being the 24th of December 2025, delegates of the Ijaw Initiative Movement paid a visit to the Bayelsa State Liaison Office to officially sign the condolence register in honour of the late Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo. The delegation expressed their heartfelt condolences on the passing of a great leader, father, and distinguished son of the Ijaw nation.

In our condolence message, we described the late Deputy Governor as a selfless leader who stood firmly for the Ijaw people and a true father to the Ijaw nation. We acknowledged his unwavering support for the vision and activities of the Ijaw Initiative Movement, noting that his encouragement and belief in our cause contributed meaningfully to our growth. We will always remember him with deep gratitude for the impact he made in our journey.

The delegation prayed that God Almighty grants the family, the government, and the people of Bayelsa State the strength to bear this great loss, and that the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace.
