From First Class in Computer Science to PhD in AI & Robotics at 28 🎓 | Meet Dr. Sagir Yusuf Muhammad

Meet Dr. Sagir Yusuf Muhammad, who has achieved another remarkable milestone by earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, with a focus on multi-robot coordination, from the University of Birmingham at just 28 years old.

Sagir’s journey began with a First Class degree in Computer Science from Gombe State University, where he emerged as the overall best graduating student in his set.

During his PhD journey, he won several research grants and best paper awards and published his research in reputable academic journals. His excellence also earned him an award for Best Research Image under the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Birmingham.

Beyond academia, Dr. Sagir has also contributed to technology and Islamic education. Some years ago, he developed mobile applications, including AI Qur’an, Hadith books, and Fiqhu, which reportedly recorded over 2 million active users in a week.

From being the overall best in his set to earning a PhD in AI and Robotics at 28, Dr. Sagir Yusuf Muhammad’s journey is a remarkable story of academic excellence, innovation, and dedication.

May Almighty Allah accept this Maolud Nnabiyu from us as an act of Ibadah.
