Udiroko Festival: A Celebration of Ekiti's Rich Cultural Heritage
The just-concluded Udiroko Festival at the Palace of Ewi Ado Ekiti was a spectacular showcase of the cultural heritage and traditions of Ado Ekiti! The yam festival brought together people from far and wide to celebrate the rich history and customs of our beloved Ekiti land.

A Representation to Remember
We, the Ekiti Cultural Tourism team, were proud to be represented at the festival with our Mr. and Miss Ekiti Cultural Tourism 2024. Their presence added to the excitement and pageantry of the event.

Dignitaries in Attendance
The festival was graced by the presence of high dignitaries, including our esteemed Governor and his beautiful wife, a princess of the soil. Their presence underscored the importance of preserving and promoting our cultural heritage.

Exploring Forisole Waterfall:

A Refreshing Adventure!
Our team recently embarked on a hiking outing to the breathtaking Forisole Waterfall in Iyin Ekiti. Although the seasonal water flow wasn't at its peak, we still had an incredible time exploring the lush forest, relaxing, and bonding.

Highlights of the Outing:
- Fun-filled games: We enjoyed some thrilling games that brought out the competitive spirit in us.
- Networking opportunities: The outing provided a platform for us to connect with like-minded individuals and discuss potential collaborations.

Planning for improvement:
We brainstormed ideas to enhance the waterfall cruise experience for tourists, ensuring that visitors can fully appreciate the natural beauty of Forisole Waterfall.

A Special Mention:
We're proud to have Mr. and Miss Ekiti Cultural Tourism 2024 join us on this adventure! They expressed their enthusiasm for taking up the Forisole Waterfall as one of their pet projects during their tenure as Cultural Tourism Ambassadors. This initiative will undoubtedly help promote the waterfall and attract more tourists to the area.
