This dialogue is organised as a knowledge-sharing avenue for policymakers, river basin managers, and other associatesβ stakeholders to leverage best practices in sustainable and integrated river basin management within, and beyond boundaries. Prominent practitioners and experts locally and internationally will be collated to demonstrate their vast experiences in managing transboundary basins.
This dialogue aims to:
(a) Share the best experience among stakeholders on the established methods of river basin management in a sustainable and integrated practice; and
(b) challenges and actions to be undertaken by stakeholders in improving the governance of a transboundary shared river basin.
It will talk about river basin management, water security, water rights, basin authorities, and transboundary efforts for a sustainable and integrated approach. The dialogue is open for participation from federal and state government agencies, water regulatory bodies, and also private sector .π¦πΏ
