Hey everyone, thank you all for reaching out to us. It was incredibly heartwarming to receive your support during this tough time. We truly appreciate the kind gestures and messages that have been coming in - they really warm our hearts.
Let us share a little background story about how Kickin’ Prawns came to be. We are two couples from Penang who share a passion for food, music, and culture. Recently, we were given the opportunity to become food vendors at Good Vibes Festival 2023, and we decided to take a leap of faith. Over the past few months, we’ve put in a lot of effort, conducting R&D, traveling between states for multiple food tastings and brainstorming sessions to create a hassle-free menu for festival-goers to enjoy.
It’s important to mention that everything we prepared and set up was dedicated solely for the festival, and unfortunately, we don’t have a physical store at the moment. We apologize for any delays in replying to your messages, as we were focused on handling perishable items and storage logistics for the remaining ingredients and items prepared for the festival.
We would also like to express our gratitude to all the other event organizers and restaurants that invited us to operate a pop-up store at their venues. However, due to limited manpower, space, and capacity, we are unable to bounce back in such a short period. We will take some time to regroup and come up with a new game plan.
