WARM UP BATU PAHAT_ENDLESS SUMMER NIGHT
We invited three independent music performers/groups of varying types to perform at our closing music event.
The following are the performers:
Buddha Beat_
Cheong and Krishna, two veteran indie artists who built their name at Penang Soundmaker Studio, have recently toured the country. However, they will represent Malaysia and perform in Canada in the second half of the year.
Buddha Beat excels in combining many traditional instruments and creating a musical genre with a distinct flavour. To those who enjoy slow rhythms and a deep ambient atmosphere, don't miss Buddha Beat's fantastic performance in Batu Pahat.
Apfis_
A Kuala Lumpur-based freelance musician who specialises on the Didgeridoo. It is a traditional musical instrument of the Australian Aborigines and one of the oldest musical instruments in the world.
Apfis excellent in impromptu performances, and in the humming low voice, perhaps we can truly hear the call from the soul, as the Australian Aborigines do.
AQILAH_
AQILAH works part-time at COFFEE POHUTUKAWA and has an unique voice. On that night, you could be able to anticipate AQILAH's singing repertoire as well as her own creation repertoire.
The three groups of varied genres mentioned above are really excited to share with you on the evening of 24/7. (Sun).
At the same time, if you enjoy music, you may also bring your own instruments; perhaps after the performance, we can have an impromptu freejam performance.

很高興今次的WARM UP BATU PAHAT能邀請到三位風格各異的獨立音樂表演者/組合，同時作為我們活動暫別的再見音樂活動。
以下為表演者介紹：
Buddha Beat
Cheong & Krishna，兩位發跡於Penang soundmaker Studio 的資深獨立音樂人，近期不只在全國各地進行巡迴表演。在未來這下半年之中，更將代表馬來西亞，遠赴加拿大參加演出。
這無疑是大馬獨立音樂走得最遠的一次了。
Buddha Beat 擅長組合不同的傳統樂器，並發展出具有強烈風格的音樂類型。喜好慢曲調與富含 ambient 氛圍的朋友們，請切勿錯過 Buddha Beat 在鑿石城的精彩表演。
Apfis_
來自吉隆坡的獨立音樂人，擅長的樂器為迪吉里杜管(Didgeridoo）。作為一種世界上最古老的樂器之一，同時亦是澳洲原住民的傳統樂器。
Apfis 極擅長即興演奏，在嗡嗡嗡的低鳴聲之中，也許我們真能如澳洲原住民一般，聽到來自靈魂深處的呼喚。
AQILAH_
如果上個月有參與我們為期兩日的 HIDDEN UNPLUGGED，那您或許會對AQILAH，這位年輕的演唱者感到熟悉。
AQILAH 是 COFFEE POHUTUKAWA的兼職夥伴，同時也擁有一副極具個性與柔性的嗓音。當晚，您或許可以期待AQILAH 所帶來的演唱曲目，也能期待她個人的創作曲目。
以上三組風格各異的組合，非常期待在 24/7 （日）當晚，能與各位一起分享。
同時，若您也喜好音樂，不妨帶上自己的樂器，也許在正規的表演結束之後，我們能來一段即興的 freejam 演出。
