IGEM is organised by the Ministry of Environment & Water (KASA) through Malaysian Green Technology & Climate Change Centre (MGTC). IGEM is Southeast Asia’s largest green technology business and innovation platform and an ideal platform for solution providers and green energy businesses to tap into the fast- expanding ASEAN market by showcasing the latest innovations to policy makers, government or

ganisations, investors and the mass markets. Since 2010, IGEM has successfully generated over RM30 billion in business leads, attracting over 490,000 visitors including delegates, dignitaries and companies from over 60 countries. The 11th series of IGEM, themed Energizing Sustainability, will be held between 19th-23rd October 2020 virtually via www.igem.my.

IGEM 2025 continues to stand as a key platform for showcasing Malaysia’s homegrown green technologies, especially from innovative MSMEs shaping the nation’s sustainability journey.

This year’s edition not only drew strong participation from local and international exhibitors, but also surpassed its RM5.5 billion target in potential business value, strengthening Malaysia’s role as a regional leader in the green economy.

IGEM 2025 successfully attracted more than 55,000 visitors from 40 countries, featuring 420 exhibition booths and eight international pavilions; reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a regional leader in the green economy.

At the same time, the Kuala Lumpur Sustainability Summit (KLSS) 2025 gathered 477 delegates from 17 countries, showcasing Malaysia’s commitment to accelerating climate action and achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
