This past weekend was the biggest Soul Lanka we have ever experienced.
350 beautiful souls gathered throughout the weekend, 350 bodies moving. 350 hearts beating as one.

There was something different in the air. Something deeper. More intentional. More connected.

This edition shaped with a shared purpose, a quiet intention that moved beneath the music and carried us through the days. We felt it in every hug, every smile, every moment on the dance floor.

Soul Lanka has always been about community over profit but this weekend, it truly felt like a living organism. One breath. One rhythm. One pulse.
We are deeply grateful to every single person who showed up, supported, danced, held space, and contributed to this collective experience. When we come together with intention, something powerful happens.

As we continue to grow, your reflections matter to us.
If you have feedback, beautiful or constructive, we are open and listening. This is something we are building together with you all.

In the next few days we will share a transparency report with the full numbers of all participants, of every rupees collected for the raffle and all the money that are being sent to our friend in need because integrity and openness are part of the foundation we are building.

For now, we simply want to say:
Thank you for your presence. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your heart.
Soul Lanka Festival will happen again next year and Soul Lanka will expand as a brand with some more events throughout the season.

The Secret Pearl, Weligama – tucked away in paradise but still easy to reach!

πŸš— By Taxi / Tuk Tuk
Simply type β€œThe Secret Pearl Bar” into Google Maps or show the name to your driver. It’s well known locally. If you’re staying nearby in Weligama, it’s just a short ride away.

πŸš† By Train
Take the coastal train to Weligama Railway Station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute tuk tuk ride to the venue.

🚌 By Bus
Hop on any Matara–Galle bus and get off in Weligama town. From there, grab a quick tuk tuk to The Secret Pearl.

🚘 Coming from Colombo or the Airport?
The drive from Colombo takes approximately 2.5–3 hours via the Southern Expressway.

✨ Look out for Secret Pearl signs near the entrance.
✨ Gates open at 8 am.

We close in celebration with a DJ set from Mushina and a spectacular Sri Lankan fire show. Expect magic, rhythm, and unforgettable vibes.

SUPPORT A SISTER

This year, Soul Lanka Festival is about more than gathering, music, movement and connection.

We are coming together in love and solidarity for our dear friend Jessamin Landamore Coyne, who is currently on her healing journey from cancer.

Jessamin is not only a dear friend, she is one of the first yoga teachers who came to Sri Lanka many years ago, helping plant the seeds of the yoga community we are all part of today. Besides that she is a dancer, facilitator, wife, and mother to two little ones (4 and 1).

She is walking this path with incredible courage, and we want her to feel the strength of this community holding her every step of the way.

As the founders of Soul Lanka festival we will donate the festival proceeds to support her. Our amazing teachers and facilitators are generously offering part of their earnings as well.
We’ll be hosting a raffle during the festival with incredible prices to win (including a handpan worth $ 1000,-!!)
And you’ll find donation jars available for anyone who feels called to give a little extra.
