Nugawela Central College were bowled out for 110 runs in 49.5 overs in their first innings, while Walala A. Ratnayake Central College, in reply, were all out for 205 runs in 58 overs. Accordingly, Nugawela Central College, which started the second innings from a 95-run deficit, were all out for 43 runs in 24.4 overs.
