Community engagement is not an event—it is our daily responsibility.

I’m truly glad to have been part of a meaningful peer-to-peer learning session by The National Treasury . It was a powerful space to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn practical approaches to strengthening participation and inclusion within our communities.

These conversations remind me that real impact happens when we listen, collaborate, and continuously learn from one another.

Looking forward to applying these insights and growing together.

Life will not always be gentle.
Sometimes it will test you, stretch you, and push you into places you never imagined you would survive. But the beauty of life is not in avoiding the storms — it is in discovering the strength you carry within them.
Your scars are not signs of weakness. They are proof that you fought, endured, and kept going when giving up would have been easier.
Do not measure your life by how easy it has been. Measure it by the courage you have shown, the kindness you have given, and the hope you continue to carry even on the hardest days.
Remember:
Even the darkest night cannot stop the morning from coming.
So keep walking.
Keep believing.
Your story still has powerful chapters ahead.

I am beginning a deliberate journey to deepen public understanding and implementation of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025. This law marks a significant shift from charity-based thinking to a rights-based approach that guarantees dignity, accessibility, equality, and full participation for persons with disabilities in Kenya. My goal is to break down the Act into practical, simple conversations that communities, youth leaders, county governments, and institutions can understand and apply. Inclusion is not optional — it is the law, and it is our collective responsibility.

Your Future, Your Choice – PWDs Can Achieve Anything!
Your abilities define your future, not your disability. Every person has unique talents and the potential to pursue a fulfilling career.
No matter the path you choose—technology, farming, teaching, or any dream—you can achieve it. Believe in yourself and take that first step toward your goals!

Inclusive agri-food systems are key to resilient communities.
When women, youth, and persons with disabilities are meaningfully included in agriculture and food systems, productivity increases, innovation grows, and no one is left behind.
Let’s build food systems that work for everyone.
