Here is the story of Modified Nonstop!
2019: I got a cricut and started making stickers for fun! I didn’t really take things that seriously and wanted to try selling my stickers online. I started my Instagram in July 2019 and I didn’t get my first order until September 2019! Shout out to Adam!
P.s. I still use the same exact cricut to this day WEEKLY! She is still going strong 🤧
2020-2021: Things started to pick up and TikTok was starting to become more popular. I started to get a lot of orders for my iconic “Objects in mirrorr are cuter than they appear” side view mirror sticker. Happy to report she is still popular to this day! I fully committed and made it my full time job. I really put the Nonstop in Modified Nonstop.
2022-2023: Started doing in person events! I WAS TERRIFIED! My anxiety was through the roof and I had no experience with interacting with customers in real life. Luckily I have an outgoing boyfriend and he’s helped me so much with events. I don’t think I could ever survive doing shows without him. I also got into Anime Expo and it’s still one of my biggest achievements for Modified.
2024: I used to prioritize work before myself and this lead to a very tough mental year. I had the biggest creative block and struggled mentally. Hellacute Customs on Etsy carried me financially. Etsy had brought me so many new customers that would have never found me. It’s always crazy having someone recognize my work at events and say they’ve actually purchased from my Etsy shop! I LOVE getting to meet so many of you in person.
2025: My 6th year anniversary! I have definitely felt much more motivated this year than the previous. Thinking back to how amazing it is to still be running this shop as my full time job is the biggest blessing. Every order truly means the world! One thing I’ve been living by is celebrating the small wins because they matter just as much as the big wins. If you’ve read till the very end I just want you to know how much I appreciate you!
