Always a pleasure to attend alongside great minds and partners in coffee. Honored to share ideas, opportunities, and Uganda’s story together with H.E. Ambassador Kaahwa Tophace and Assistant Commissioner Gordon Katwirenabo of MAAIF. Moments like these remind us that collaboration is the key to building lasting impact for Ugandan coffee.

What a timely support it was! We spent an incredible week alongside fellow exporters from Uganda, building networks, showcasing our coffees, and learning from global leaders in specialty coffee. Here we’re joined by officials from and , who generously financed Uganda’s presence at the London Coffee Festival, a crucial step in expanding our reach into the EU market. We were also honored by the presence of the Ugandan High Commissioner, whose encouragement and support reminded us that we’re not doing this alone. Together, we’re putting Ugandan coffee on the world map!

Grateful to represent 🇺🇬 and share the rich culture behind our coffee with the world 🌍 . At the AFCA Conference (Feb 26–28), I had the opportunity to speak on a panel discussing the realities of coffee pricing. The current price crisis is not new, it has long been a challenge for farmers and exporters. What’s different now is that roasters and consumers are becoming part of the conversation.

For the first time, farmers are earning above their cost of production, a crucial step toward sustainability. But we must ensure this remains the norm, not the exception. To achieve this, we need a pricing system that reflects localized costs of production rather than a global model based solely on supply and demand.

It’s time for a coffee industry that truly works for everyone, from farm to cup. Let’s keep pushing for fair and sustainable solutions!
