เมื่อวันที่ 25 เมษายน 2569 นางสาวสิริมน อติแพทย์ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา เป็นผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโตเกียว เข้าร่วมในพิธีเปิดงานสงกรานต์ประจำปี 2569 ครั้งที่ 11 จัดโดยสมาคมเครือข่ายมิตรภาพไทย-ญี่ปุ่น เมืองคาวาโกเอะ จังหวัดไซตามะ ที่ Naguawashi City Center เมืองคาวาโกเอะ โดยมีนาง MORITA Hatsue นายกเทศมนตรีเมืองคาวาโกเอะ นาย NAKANO Hideyuki สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรจังหวัดไซตามะ เขต 7 ผู้แทนหน่วยงานและภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ในพื้นที่ และชุมชนไทยในจังหวัดไซตามะเข้าร่วมด้วย
ในการนี้ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษาได้กล่าวชื่นชมการจัดงานฯ ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสนำเสนอวัฒนธรรมไทยให้ชาวญี่ปุ่นได้สัมผัสในหลายมิติ รวมถึงบทบาทของสมาคมฯ ในการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างประชาชนไทยและญี่ปุ่น ทั้งนี้ ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมทางวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลาย เช่น การแสดงนาฏศิลป์ การเดินแบบชุดไทยพระราชนิยม การรดน้ำดำหัวและสรงน้ำพระ และสาธิตนวดแผนไทย

On 25 April 2026, Ms. Sirimon Atipatya, Minister Counsellor, represented the Royal Thai Embassy at the Opening Ceremony of the 11th Thai Songkran Festival 2026, organised by the Thai–Japan Friendship Network, at the Naguawashi City Center, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. Also in attendance were The Honourable Ms. MORITA Hatsue, Mayor of Kawagoe City, The Honourable Mr. NAKANO Hideyuki, Member of the House of Representatives for Saitama 7th District, representatives of local agencies and sectors, as well as the Thai community in Saitama.
In her remarks, Minister Counsellor Sirimon commended the organization of the event which serves as an opportunity to showcase various aspects of Thai culture for the Japanese public to experience, as well as the role of the Thai–Japan Friendship Network in fostering the close relations between Thai and Japanese peoples. During the event, numerous cultural activities were held, including Thai traditional performances, a Thai national costume (Chud Thai) fashion show, a water-pouring blessing ceremony, and Thai massage demonstrations.

2026年4月25日、シリモン・アティペート公使参事官はタイ王国大使館を代表し、埼玉県川越市の名細市民センターで開催されたタイ日友好ネットワーク主催「第11回タイ王国旧お正月水かけ祭り」の開会式に出席しました。開会式には、来賓として森田初恵川越市長、中野英幸衆議院議員（埼玉７区）を始め、地域の関係機関や各界の代表者、埼玉県在住のタイ人コミュニティが参加しました。
挨拶の中で公使参事官は、日本人が多様なタイ文化に触れる機会となる事業の開催と、両国民の架け橋となるタイ日友好ネットワークの役割を称賛しました。イベントでは、タイ舞踊、チュッタイ（タイ衣装）のファッションショー、仏像や年長者の手に水をかけて敬意を表す儀式、さらにタイ古式マッサージといった多彩な文化活動が行われました。
