Kukamishinryu Denshukai information

Kukamishin Ryu is a martial art handed down in the family of Kumano Betto (a descendant of Fujiwara clan that served at the Northern Court).

Kukamishin Ryu developed into a form with a unique philosophy when the Betto family had an encounter with Tenshinhyoho, a secret martial art created by Kiitsuhougen at Mt. Kurama, at the time of unprecedented disturbances in Japan (called the time of the Northern and Southern Courts). This is the martial art with a Shintoistic background handed down to the lord of Ayabe, the Viscount of Kuki ---Kukishinden Tenshinhyoho, or Kukamishin Ryu.

第27回熊野本宮大社奉納演武に先立ち、下記の門弟諸氏が昇級し、免状および巻物が高塚師範から授与されました。
The degrees were awarded to several students from Takatsuka Shihan, prior to Dedicatory martial arts demonstration at Kumano Hongu Taisha.

ステファンが九鬼神流皆伝を授与されました。
おめでとうございます！
入門から約20年の修行を経て、確かに九鬼神流の免許皆伝者に相応しい師範と成られました。心よりお祝い申し上げます。

Mr.Stefan De Schrijver was conferred "Kaiden".
Through the training of about 20 years from admission to our Dojo, Stefan was become certainly appropriate instructor to Menkyokaiden of Kukamishinryu.
We are impressed by your earnest and sincere attitude for practice.
We express our respect for your endeavor.
