JOB DESCRIPTION

1DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Not Listed In Any Particular Order)
1.1Help prepare HAZOP documentation, P&ID, and equipment.
1.2Attends and actively participates in the HAZOP meeting.
1.3Selects appropriate equipment for projects with the field coordinator and operations manager.
1.4Participate in pre-job meeting with crew.
1.5Gather job program information from the field coordinator and operations manager.
1.6Evaluate individual crew members and report to management, as required.
1.7Mentor and supervise crew.
1.8Be aware of the crew’s competence levels and delegate tasks accordingly.
1.9Ensure equipment SOPs, JSAs, and MSDS are complete and available to crew.
1.10Ensure equipment certificates are available, and collect certifications as required.
1.11Ensure you and your crew are equipped with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing; (steel toed work boots, FR (Fire Retardant) coveralls, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection plus where necessary specialized equipment such as self-contained breathing apparatus).
1.12Oversee and perform pre-deployment checks for equipment, tools and parts.
1.13Perform all tasks in a safe professional manner and follow SOPs.
1.14Perform and actively participate in all required safety meetings, JSAs and walk around/shift handover.
1.15Coordinate equipment load out following company procedures.
1.16Coordinate and assign rig up/down responsibilities, participate in the installation of the unit or system to be tested, including rig up and rig down of all test equipment and indicating instruments, as per P&ID.
1.17Manage and document 3rd party charges, in addition to compiling and seeking authorization of daily job ticket.
1.18Complete and verify operations forms and checklists.
1.19Supervise and perform pressure tests, function tests, as per relevant SOP and equipment design specifications. Retain test documentation.
1.20Plan preventative maintenance, supervise, operate, repair and maintain surface test equipment within safe parameters.
1.21Monitor equipment controls and instrumentation, record test data and verify data quality for engineer/client’s use.
1.22Supervise and perform liquid sampling and analysing and verify quality.
1.23Coordinate and perform equipment maintenance and repair work as required.
1.24Supervise and perform troubleshooting of equipment and process.
1.25Report any abnormalities of equipment to field coordinator and/or operations manager.
1.26Generate a list and notify field coordinator and/or operations manager of needed spare parts from suppliers.
1.27Complete job reporting as required, including WPTS CPAR, NCR, OFI, etc.
1.28Initiate a MOC if required.
1.29Report all incidents, accidents/near misses and unsafe working environments to field coordinator and/or operations manager. (Enter in WPTS)
1.30Recommend changes in test methods or equipment, and document suggestions on daily report.
1.31Supervise and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
1.32May be asked to take supervisor/assessor training and perform competence assessments, as per WFT Competence Program.
1.33Communicate with the crew, operations manager and field coordinator regularly regarding job program and operational parameters.
1.34Communicate with onsite company representative regularly.
1.35Perform operations as per OCP/SOPs and ensure crew is aware of correct safe operations.
1.36Collect field service quality form, (FSQ form, WPTS job performance) and submit with job report.
1.37DAQ reading and data collection during the day as a DAQ User, (or may be performed by DAQ Technician/Specialist if available).
1.38Monitor sensors and ensure they are reading within parameters (or may be performed by DAQ Technician/Specialist if available).
1.39Communicate with DAQ Technician to confirm project data collection procedure.
1.40Verify and validate manual data against DAQ.
1.41Responsible for good housekeeping and cleanliness on location and in the workshop.
1.42Operate company vehicle according to the Weatherford Driver and Vehicle Safety Policy.
1.43Take an active role and participate in Weatherford's Quality Improvement Process and comply with all requirements of the Product Line Operational Control Plan (OCP).
1.44Maintain clear and professional communications with all crewmembers and company representatives.
1.45Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
1.46Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
1.47Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
1.48Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

JOB SCOPE

To provide legal support to our Iraq operations. The role may involve specialist duties and direct contact with other employees, governmental authorities and outside counsels. This is an unlimited term role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviewing and Negotiation of contracts, bank guarantees and other legal documents on behalf of the Company.
Advising management and the business on contract status, legal risks and other legal liabilities.
Advising and liaising with HR on labour, immigration and localisation laws
Offering advice to management and other business stakeholders on a variety of legal issues
Drafting and reviewing letters, contracts and other legal documents
Assisting compliance and trade compliance functions with investigations or other queries as required.
Assisting with new and on-going litigation matters, co-ordinating and communicating instructions to external legal providers and internal co-workers and developing a strategy for litigation proceedings
Performing other legal duties which may be assigned from time to time
Excellent written and oral communication, both in English and Arabic
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software
Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills
Must be a strong communicator and able to deal with governmental authorities
Possess strong interpersonal service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help
Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments
Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues
Excellent keyboard skills
Good organizational skills
Familiarity with legal documents and word formatting
Sound drafting skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under stress
Accuracy and attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

Law Degree from a reputable university

Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel independently
At least 2 years of post-qualified experience with a reputable law firm or multi-national corporation
Fluency in English and Arabic
Ability to use Windows for Office including Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Preferred

Admitted to practice law in middle east or another jurisdiction
Involved in corporate or finance work in an international law firm or major local law firm
Litigation, employment and company law experience
ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential

Ability to work long hours as and when required
Ability to work on rest day and/or public holidays as and when required
