تتقدم اللجنة العليا لمهرجان اكيتو بأحر التهاني إلى أبناء شعبنا في الوطن والمهجر بمناسبة عيد القيامة المجيد، متمنياً أن يعم السلام والمحبة والرجاء في قلوب الجميع، وأن يكون هذا العيد المبارك محطةً لتجديد الإيمان والعمل المشترك من أجل مستقبل أفضل لشعبنا وأمتنا.

Important Clarification

As part of the preparations being made by the ChaldoAssyrian Students and Youth Union – Khoyada to hold Akitu Festival in celebration of the Babylonian Assyrian New Year 6776, and out of our commitment to making this event a joyful gathering for our people that celebrates our identity and rich heritage,

and in light of the current circumstances and the tensions and security developments in the region related to the ongoing events and the conflict between the United States and Iran, Khoyada places the safety of our people and all participants as its top priority.

Accordingly, we would like to clarify that we are currently pausing the process of moving forward with Akitu Festival until the situation becomes clearer in the coming days. This decision is made out of concern for the safety of our people at home and in the diaspora and to avoid any potential risks.

The Union will keep our people informed of any updates regarding the festival at the appropriate time.

We appreciate your understanding and wish safety and peace for our country and for our people.

في إطار الاستعدادات التي يعمل عليها اتحاد الطلبة والشبيبة الكلدوآشوري – خويادا لإقامة مهرجان اكيتو احتفاءً برأس السنة البابلية الآشورية الجديدة 6776، وحرصاً على أن يكون هذا الحدث مناسبة تجمع أبناء شعبنا في أجواءٍ من الفرح والاعتزاز بهويتنا وتراثنا العريق،
ونظراً للظروف الراهنة وما تشهده المنطقة من توترات وتطورات أمنية مرتبطة بالأحداث الجارية والحرب بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، فإن خويادا يضع سلامة أبناء شعبنا وجميع المشاركين في مقدمة أولوياته.

⚠️وعليه، نود أن نوضح بأننا نتريث حالياً في المضي بإقامة مهرجان اكيتو إلى حين اتضاح الصورة خلال الأيام القادمة، وذلك حرصاً على سلامة أبناء شعبنا في الوطن والمهجر وتجنباً لأي مخاطر محتملة.

وسيعمل الاتحاد على إطلاع أبناء شعبنا على أي مستجدات تتعلق بالمهرجان في الوقت المناسب.
