YES WE CAN, TEACH TO CHANGE AND MYRIAD ACADEMY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES, youth run social organizations jointly organize YOUTH CONVENTION on UN IYD 2015 at Visakhapatnam. The event involves prestigious academics, social entrepreneurs and people

of the government speaking on current issues, exchanging knowledge, and experiences and facilitating political and cultural creativity among the youth. The event would foster a new environment for intellectual growth, maturity and possible revival. The delegates could listen to speakers from various areas of the political and ideological spectrum, engaging in active discussions and debates with the panelists. What puts this apart from other similar forums is the extent of student involvement. Students across the states can submit their abstracts expressing their own independent thoughts and ideals, placing them on the same platform as the respectable dignitaries. The event is broadly organized into 9 different themes, which are mentioned below. Students who wish to present papers shall submit an abstract after filling the online form. Only 20 papers will be selected for the presentation for an allotted time of about 10 mins to deliver their papers, under their respective themes. They could answer questions from the delegates and challenge their co-researchers, even bringing the views of the panelists under stern critique. Such an opportunity is rare, and unreasonable to be missed, for the intellectually thirty or the socially active. The various themes that would broadly govern the United Nations International Youth Day are as follows -

YES WE CAN Organization in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India anf Bhutan (UNIC) in association with Andhra University, NGO E.C.O and NGO Wipe A Tear organized a Walkathon at the Beach Road to promote the International Youth Day Convention.

The main aim of the project is to ‘link the youth in Vizag to the UN Sustainable Development Goals’.

have inaugurated the poster of Yes We Can Organization's 8th project "UNIYD-VYC 2016" in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan
In Association with Andhra University and Vijay Nirman Company Pvt. Ltd.

The project mainly aims at 'imparting knowledge of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN and "promoting the spirit of civic engagement through social work among the youth".

In brief about the list of events of the project-

22-24 July 2016 (Painting and Essay Writing competitions for schools, junior colleges and Universities to involve students in promoting the theme)

30 July 2016 (Beach Walkathon in the morning to create awareness in the city about the project)

30 July 2016 (Street Show with live music, magic show, general public talks, stand-up comedy)

12 August 2016 (Youth Convention at Andhra University where youth participate in the guest speeches, special talks, paper presentations, classical dance shows)
