Remembering the Tanjore Heritage Quartet K.P. Kittappa Pillai, a timeless treasure on his remembrance day today, one more greatest historic memory of our traditional Melattur Bagavatha Mela.

Guru Kittappa Pillai performed Nattuvangam along with the great vocalists Sri Venkatesa Iyengar & Sri Radhakrishnan and Guru Herambanathan for his direct disciple Guru Mahalingam (at present only living direct disciple in Melattur Bagavatha Mela) and other artistes.

With the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy, the Natya Natak Mahotsav 2025 went very well. Happy to share that more than 20 prominent dance troupes and 300 artistes across the country took part in the cultural events. Guru Mahalingam and the entire troupe enjoyed the pleasure of motivating the practicing young artistes, appreciating the promising talents and honouring the experts in the field of classical dance and drama during the festival.
