Let's think of more reasons to visit Indian Beaches in 2025 as the Team Cult Sports League are organizing India's first ever Beach Volleyball Super League.
On the tourism front as well,
India, the seventh largest land mass in the world, has its two halves belonging to different topographies. The northern part of the country, which is ruled by the Himalayas, has its tail surrounded by the blue water cover. This distinction or diversity in landforms, give tourists enough reasons to travel to India. From the state of Gujarat in the west, the coastline of India goes south and then make a U-turn to the northeast till West Bengal.
The Coastal India is a geo-cultural region in the Indian subcontinent that spans the entire coastline of India.( 7516.6 km; Mainland: 5422.6 km, Island Territories: 2094 km ).
Beaches in India are incredibly scenic and they serve for every purpose; Be it the water sports that enthrall your or the picturesque romantic locations that entice you . Goa is also called the beach capital of India as it has the major portion of its tourism dependant on its sun kissed beaches. Popular beaches in Goa that are surely to be visited include Calangute, Dona Paula, Colva, Anjuna, Vagator, Arambol, Palolem and Miramar. These beaches reflect the true face of Goa, where leisure, recreational and action packed water sports are always on the hit.
Move extreme south on the coastline, and you will arrive at Kerala, the beaches of which are less crowded, and offer solitude in the lap of mother nature. God’s own country, Kerala has a lush green cover that follows it, although its lengths and breadths. This natural bliss can also be felt at the beaches of the state, which are entwined with the culture and tradition of the state as well. Kovalam, Varkala, Marari, Kannur, Cherai, and Bekal are some of the best beach holiday destinations in India that need to be explored.
If you are a fan of island beaches, then Andaman is just the place for you. Giving a feel of the islands of Hawaii and Carribean, Andaman is an undisturbed, solitary spot in the Bay of Bengal.
India has a multitude of options when it comes to beaches. Other regions which are equally tempting for their beaches include TamilNadu, Pondicherry, Andhara Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka and Gujarat.
