Science film festival of india, Goa Soak in festival fervour with 4 days of films, talks and interactions India faces critical challenges as a nation in its march towards a welfare state.

The nature of the challenges is unique and we consider rapid strides in the sector of science and technology is one of the solutions to meet these challenges. Progress of Science and use of technology is an important factor in nation building. India is a diverse country with its rich traditional knowledge and practices. India has the largest youth who desires with determination to prosper and we b

elieve science and technology are two wheels of vehicle to meet aspiration of our people. In this context Vidnyan Parishad, Goa, a unit of Vijnana Bharati, a science movement with swadeshi spirit, is performing its role by organizing many events in Goa and the major of them in recent years has been the 4th Bhartiya Vigyan Sammelan & Expo which was successfully held from 5-8 Feb 2015 at Panaji. To further the cause of science among the student community, we propose to leverage the potential of Goa as a film festival destination by organizing the Science Film festival of India in Goa named SCI-FFI (Science film festival of India). Science films are a very easy and effective medium to further the cause of science as it has the largest potential to attract students to science.
