A grand and heartwarming reception programme was organized on 25th May 2026 at the Donyi Polo Airport to welcome the proud winners of the prestigious Mr/Mrs Royal Global Married Couple King & Queen 2026, which was held in Mumbai on 24th May 2026. The reception was jointly organized by the Arunachal Married Couple Show committee members along with the family members and well-wishers of the winning couples.
The celebration became a proud moment not only for the families but also for the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh as the couples brought national-level recognition and honor to the state through their outstanding performances, confidence, personality, cultural representation, and marital bonding.
Mr. Nabam Taram and Mrs. Yami Tana Nabam emerged as the Winners of the Mr/Mrs Royal Global Married Couple King & Queen 2026 title. Along with the prestigious crown, the couple also received the Subtitle Award “Best Romantic Couple” for their exceptional chemistry, understanding, emotional connection, and graceful stage presence throughout the competition. Their journey inspired many couples, showcasing the beauty of love, trust, respect, and togetherness in married life.
Another proud achievement came from Mr. Niku Dolo Pangia and Mrs. Pepe Bagang Dolo, who won the “National Costume Award” and the Subtitle Award “Best Chemistry Couple.” The couple impressed the judges and audience with their stunning traditional attire representing the rich culture and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh. Their coordination, confidence, and natural bonding on stage earned them admiration and appreciation from all corners.
The warm reception at Hollongi Airport was filled with happiness, traditional greetings, flower bouquets, felicitation, and joyful celebrations. Committee members of the Arunachal Married Couple Show expressed immense pride and congratulated both couples for representing Arunachal Pradesh at the national platform with dignity and excellence. Family members, supporters, and well-wishers also gathered in large numbers to celebrate the historic achievement.

It is a moment of immense pride and honour for the Arunachal Married Couple Show family as well as the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh. We are delighted to announce that our very own couple, Mr. Nabam Taram and Mrs. Nabam Yami, have brought great glory to the state by winning the prestigious title of Mr. & Mrs. Royal Global Married Couple Mumbai 2026. Along with this remarkable achievement, they were also honoured with the special subtitle award for Best Romantic Couple, making the victory even more memorable and inspiring.

Late Bengia Tolum, Former President (NES), was a highly respected leader and one of the strongest pillars of the Nyishi community in Arunachal Pradesh. His lifelong dedication, visionary leadership, and selfless service towards the welfare, unity, and upliftment of the Nyishi society will always be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

He played a significant role in preserving the culture, traditions, and identity of the Nyishi people while continuously working for the betterment and progress of society and the state as a whole. His immense contributions have left a lasting impact on generations to come.

The news of his demise is an irreparable loss not only for the Nyishi community but for the entire people of Arunachal Pradesh. His wisdom, humility, and commitment to social harmony will forever remain an inspiration to all.

Today, the funeral service of Late Charu Nana Bengia, former Best Confidence Award title holder of the Arunachal Married Couple Show 2024, was held with deep sorrow and respect.
The service was attended by the Team Arunachal Married Couple Show committee members, reigning and former participants of the 3rd Edition, along with family members, relatives, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their final respects.
Her presence, kindness, and beautiful spirit touched many lives, and her absence leaves behind a profound void that can never truly be filled.
The entire Arunachal Married Couple Show family extends their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. In this moment of grief, we stand together in prayer, asking the Almighty God to grant her eternal peace and give strength to her loved ones to bear this immense loss.
