In 2015, FICCI put together a unique initiative called Frame Your Idea. Designed as a 'first of it’s kind' pitching forum in the country it made its debut at FICCI Frames 2015. HOW IT WORKS:
At FYI, anyone with a content idea or story or screenplay for a film/TV show/animation could pre-register, turn up and pitch it within 10 minutes, to the right people in the business of entertainment.
WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT FRAME YOUR IDEA:
In the past editions, it has caused 5000+ meeting between content owners/writers & content producers. Representation of leading producers/studios/content commissioners
Pitches conducted across categories (Film, digital, Animation, TV, Documentary)
Films have been made, scripts have been sold and writers have been staffed at writers rooms due to Frame Your idea. WHAT NEXT:
Frame Your Idea is being revived post pandemic. Yes, Frame Your Idea is back, bigger & better! FYI 2025 is to be conducted at Fairmont, Mumbai as part of the 25th edition of FICCI Frames on 7th & 8th October 2025. BACK & HOW:
FYI 2025 will have the leading content producers in attendance. FYI 2025 will provide opportunities to content idea owners to pitch to at least 3 panelists each, taking the meeting tally potential to 3000 +. Enhanced Curation process to improve quality of entries being pitched to Producers
