Mumbai Masters Premier League Mumbai Masters Premier League (MMPL) is a Cricket tournament in Mumbai. MMPL was started in 2018. MMPL is covered across print medias in various linguistics.

It was started with an objective for those Masters who are above a certain age and still have the urge to showcase their cricket skills. Mumbai Masters Premier League, hereinafter referred as MMPL is a cricket tournament based out of Mumbai. It was started in 2018 with an objective for those Masters who could not make it big in their playing days but still have the adrenaline rush to achieve while

handling their Professional and Personal Lives simultaneously. All MMPL matches are played under lights and broadcasted on digital media. The players must attain a certain criteria set in terms of age, cricket experience. Participants can either participate either by owning a franchise or individually. Those owning a franchise or team, can become the face and build team. The first edition witnessed eight franchises battling for the trophy. The cumulative YouTube viewership was 350k. The first edition was extremely exciting and with extravaganza. Not only the players but also their closed ones enjoyed the tournament. It was fascinating to see, players close to 50 years of age

Now, MMPL wants to continue with the legacy left behind. Therefore, the second edition is likely to be held in March 2023.
