Moga defeated Fazilka by 8 wickets in the Under-14 Tournament organized by PCA Mohali, being played at Fazilka.

⭐ Star Performer:

District Cricket Association Moga Announces Under-14 Cricket Trials β€” Cut-off Date: 01-09-2011 β€” Kamal Arora

Moga β€” The District Cricket Association, Moga has officially announced the Under-14 Cricket Trials for the upcoming season. Speaking to the media, Kamal Arora (APEX Member, PCA Mohali) informed that the trials will be conducted on 09 December 2025 at Blooming Buds School, Amritsar Bypass Moga (Talwandi Bangeria) at 3:30 PM.

Players born on or after 01 September 2011 are eligible to participate in the trials. All players must carry their original birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and full cricket kit.

According to the association, this is a golden opportunity for budding junior players to showcase their talent and earn a place in the district team. Parents and coaches are requested to ensure that the players report to the venue on time.

The District Cricket Association Moga reiterated its commitment to promoting grassroots cricket and providing a platform for young talent to grow.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini (Patron, DCA Moga), Ravinder Singh (President), Rajeev Kumar (Joint Secretary), Pradeep Monga, Sunny Manchanda, Coach Manjeet Kumar, Beant Singh Dhillon, Harshdeep Singh, Kapil Dev, and Harsimran Singh.

Two Young Moga Players Selected for Punjab Team for Vijay Merchant Trophy β€” Kamal Arora

Moga, December 2 β€” It is a proud moment for the District Cricket Association, Moga, as the Junior Selection Committee of the Punjab Cricket Association has announced the Punjab Under-16 team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy 2025–26, selecting two talented players from Moga district β€” Japneet Gill and Gaivin Kohli. Speaking to the media, Kamal Arora (APEX Member, PCA Mohali) stated that both young players have impressed the selectors with their outstanding performances in recent matches, earning themselves this well-deserved opportunity. The Vijay Merchant Trophy season will commence on December 7, 2025, in Gwalior, while the Punjab team is scheduled to depart from Mohali on December 4. As per PCA’s instructions, both players have been directed to report to Mr. Ankur Kakkar, Head Coach, at I.S. Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali, on December 2 by 4:00 PM to attend the pre-tournament preparations and team meeting.

On this occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini (Patron, DCA Moga), Ravinder Singh (President), Rajeev Kumar (Joint Secretary), Pardeep Monga, Sunny Manchanda, along with Senior Cricket Club Chairman A.W.R.K. Jindal, President Vinay Gupta, Secretary Dr. Shamsher Singh Sidhu, Harvinder Kumar Lala, Advocate Jagpreet Singh Chadda, and Lakhveer Singh, congratulated the players and extended their best wishes for their future endeavors. Coaches Manjeet Kumar, Beant Singh Dhillon, Harshdeep Singh, Kapil Dev, and Harsimran Singh were also present and encouraged the players, stating that this selection is the result of the district’s hard work, discipline, and emerging cricketing talent.
