Welcome Franchises!!!

This is the 1st time in the history of table tennis in IPGME&R that we are inviting franchises for the sport.It is as we all know an auction based Table Tennis tournament wher each franchise will have the right to buy a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 players through an open auction process..

Some FAQ's which benefit all the owners and interested players and spectators alike..

1)What?
IPGME&R Table Tennis Premier League Season 1

2)Who are allowed to play?
Only students,interns,PGT's and ex students of IPGME&R are allowed..

3)How long will it continue?
It will be played over a week for 2-3 hours everyday

4)Oh My God!!What are the dates then?
Auction-Saturday,10th March 2018
Matches start from Monday,12th March,2018

5)Sounds quite interesting..What is the format?

Each match will be of 7 sets

Mens Singles 1(2 points)
Mens Singles 2(1.5 points)
Mens Singles 3(1 point)
Womens Singles 1(1 Point)
Mens Doubles 1(2 point)
Mens Doubles 2(1.5 point)
Mixed Doubles 1(1 .5 point)

Total 10.5 points

Whichever team scores 5.5 wins the set..

6)Ok that is something..Tell me how many matches can 1 player play per set?
Each player of a franchise can play a maximum of 2 games and a maximum of 1 singles.

7)Good upto now!!How many franchises will you have?
A maximum of 8 franchises will be allowed.

8)What is the price for being a franchise?
It is Rs 400/-

9)I would prefer being a player instead..What is the entry fee of a player?
It is Rs 30/-

10)What Prize would I get?

Runners Up-Rs 600
