NABBED (02) HASH OIL PEDDLERS WHO WERE FOUND IN POSSESION OF HASH OIL -TOTAL WORTH OF Rs. 21,37,500/-
The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Jubilee Hills ZoneTeam, Hyderabad along with SR Nagar Police apprehended (02) persons who were found in possession of Hash Oil which is narcotic substance.

Brief facts of the case:
The accused, Poddu Mohan Rao, is a native of Chinalabudu Village, Araku Valley Mandal, Alluri Sitarama Raju District. He studied up to Intermediate First Year; however, due to poverty and financial constraints, he could not continue his education. To earn his livelihood, he works in agriculture and also drives his own auto-rickshaw, undertaking trips whenever passengers are available, including trips to Visakhapatnam. However, his earnings were insufficient to meet the needs of his family. Due to unemployment, financial difficulties, and the resultant mental and financial pressure, he decided to earn money through illegal means. Every Thursday, he used to visit the local market in his auto-rickshaw. During one such visit, he came into contact with a person from Champaguda Village, Paduva Mandal, Koraput District, Odisha State. The said person introduced himself as a person engaged in the sale of Hash Oil and requested the accused to inform him whenever he came across persons interested in purchasing Hash Oil. Thereafter, owing to his financial difficulties, Poddu Mohan Rao hatched a plan to earn money illegally. He contacted one T. Bistudas, who was known to him and resided within approximately five kilometres of his village. Both of them subsequently contacted another person belonging to a neighbouring village, situated approximately ten kilometres from their village. They came to know that the said person had previously purchased Hash Oil and supplied it to customers in Hyderabad. With the assistance of Poddu Mohan Rao, they purchased approximately 1.710 litres of Hash Oil from a person belonging to Champaguda Village, Paduva Mandal, Koraput District, Odisha State, during the morning hours of 30-08-2026. Their intention was to transport the contraband to Hyderabad and sell it to customers at a higher price, thereby earning illegal profits. Subsequently, they arranged a prospective customer in Hyderabad City.
As per their plan, on 31-08-2026 at about 03:00 hours, Poddu Mohan Rao, along with T. Bistudas, boarded a train from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad Railway Station, carrying approximately 1.710 litres of Hash Oil. They reached Secunderabad Railway Station during the afternoon hours and thereafter hired an auto-rickshaw and proceeded to Water Tank Lane, S.R. Nagar, Hyderabad. They waited there along with the contraband Hash Oil for the prospective customer; in the meantime, they were apprehended by the police.
