On behalf of Shaastra-2013 Indian Institute of Technology Madras, AppsBuzz as the Organizer & promoter of the Shaastra-2013, It gives us great pleasure to introduce AppsFest-2013, a national Android Apps Development championship, the final round will be organized as part of Shaastra-2013 on 5th-8th January-2013. AppsFest-2013 will bring students from all over the country together to participate in the celebration of knowledge and creative extravagance along with experts from the fields of academic as well as industry. It hosts various challenging events based on Android Apps Development, general awareness and many more. With technological innovation scaling new heights, AppsFest-2013 is all set to create a new benchmark.

Event Detaills---

AppsFest-2013 is a National Android Apps Development Championship and Workshop series by Shaastra-2013 and AppsBuzz. This Year Prelims Rounds of 2013 will be held at Few Zonal Centers all across India. This is a 3 Stage Event as detailed below:

Stage 1 (WORKSHOP ROUND to be held at Zonal Centers):

1. Android Application Development workshop will be held at Few Zonal centers all across India. The details of the Zonal centers and Workshop contents will be available on our website.
2. All the participants who want to participate in Competition can also attend the workshops at any Zonal Center.
3. The workshop fee is inclusive of Registration Charges.
4. During the workshop Android Application Development Kit will be supplied by Sponsors of this event to every participant.
5. The Duration of the Android Application Development Workshop will be of 2 Days (7-8 hr each day).
6. The Workshop will be delivered by AppsBuzz.

Stage 2 (ZONAL ROUND to be held at zonal center):

1. Just after the workshop a Mega Competition (Prelim Rounds) of AppsFest-2013 will be held.
2. Winners will be awarded Certificate of Merit, and are required to participate in Final Rounds which will be held at IIT-Madras on 5th to 8th January-2013.

Stage 3 (FINAL ROUND to be held at IIT-Madras):

1. Winners of Zonal Centers are required to participate in the final round of android Apps Development Championship during Shaastra-2013 at IIT-Madras..
2. Winner of this Final Round will win The Championship and will be awarded and honored by Shaastra-2013 IIT-Madras.
3. A Certificate of Excellence will also be awarded to the Winning Team.
