Natnoo geets JKNC Leaders Sworn In as Newly Elected Rajya Sabha Members
Doda, Dec. 1: Jammu & Kashmir Youth National Conference Zonal President Chenab Region Sarshad Nisar Natnoo said that it as a significant political development for Jammu & Kashmir that three senior leaders of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC)—Ch. Mohd Ramzan, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, and Gurvinder Singh Oberoi—were sworn in today as Members of the Rajya Sabha. The oath-taking ceremony marked an important milestone for the party as it strengthens its representation in the Upper House of Parliament.
Party members and supporters from across the Union Territory welcomed the development, expressing pride and optimism over the leaders’ elevation to national roles. According to party workers, the induction of the three leaders reflects JKNC’s continued commitment to raising the issues of Jammu & Kashmir on the national stage.
Among the newly elected MPs, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, the Zonal President and a prominent political figure, received special accolades. His election has been described as a “historic moment” for the Chenab region, where he is widely regarded as a mentor and a guiding force for young political aspirants and grassroots workers.
Local leaders noted that Kichloo’s presence in the Rajya Sabha is expected to bring greater attention to the developmental needs and concerns of the mountainous Chenab Valley. Many supporters celebrated the achievement as a source of renewed inspiration for youth engagement in public life.
Extending his greetings, Sarshad Nisar Natnoo, Ex-BDC Chairman of Gundna and Zonal President of Youth JKNC for the Chenab region, congratulated all three leaders and wished them a productive and impactful tenure in Parliament.
Their entry into the Rajya Sabha is widely viewed as a strategic boost for the party’s national outreach and its efforts to advocate for the rights and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
