Siddheshwar Mahotsav is a month long celebration. There are different activities, which are performed by the bhaktas at the Ashram. There is no regimentation or set rule to regulate these events with some kind of strict framework requiring individuals to participate in all or any of them in specific ways. While organizing various spiritual activities, the Ashram allows people the freedom to follow
their chosen path to reach Divinity in their respective spiritual journeys. Yoga, Meditation, Puja, Bhakti, and Yajnas are the main activities in the Ashram which help in purification of the soul. Additionally, discourses by Shri Gurudev are a regular part of the Ashram schedule. Gurubhaktas visiting the Ashram find these discourses very informative and beneficial, as Shri Gurudev explains deep spiritual matters with absolute simplicity and ease by connecting them to the everyday life experiences common to the average human being’s life. Many volunteers from the Ashram participate in donations of food to the poor. Books, uniforms, stationery, and other supplies are also donated to various schools. Award sessions are hosted to motivate the students to perform better. Distribution of clothes to the poor and needy and to various charitable organizations is a major part of the activity at the Ashram. Medical camps for free eye checkups and blood donation camps are organized by the bhaktas on a regular basis. There are also special programmes designed to motivate youth by giving them opportunities to interact with young leaders and entrepreneurs who have successfully combined their spiritual life with a life of personal growth and development. These and many other such activities at the Ashram have one and only one goal - to motivate and inspire the gurubhaktas to pursue a life of spiritual quest under the auspicious sanctification of their beloved Shri Gurudev. Shri Siddheshwar Mahotsav 2016 is being held from 20th July 2016 to 18th August 2016 at Sri Siddheshwar Tirth, Sri Bhramarishi Ashram, Tirupati.
