UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who shared this. I’ve now secured a professional DJ, and managed also to secure another local pro to assist for a dance session in the usual fashion! A “ FANCY “ night is now secured on a very scary night on October 🥳 All details will be revealed in due course. It’s a fundraiser for the towns this time.

Navenny street getting ready to party this coming Sunday. It was good to work again this evening with the oldest resident on the street . All the merchandise has arrived, and some class stuff for you all to choose from. This committee deserves to be recognised and commended for their planning and, commitment. There was a real good sense of pride and community this evening. Remember this is a charity event and should be supported.

From the Corgary road heading to the high hill for a dander.
Many a smuggler travelled this road in bygone years. This road leads to Barnes Gap eventually and behind me to castlederg or beyond 🙂

Work has begun on the next creation for the twin towns. Another original idea that’s been on the slow cooker and is now in production 😎 it’ll take some time to make it work due to the intricate details and,the amount of time to bring it all together 😌

Two exceptional sports facilities in the twin towns. They’re both dependent on public support and, government funding. They bring families together and, create friendships-sometimes lifelong! They both involve nets and a ball/balls. They both encourage people’s willingness to better understand their capabilities and, sometimes hidden talents.
They both have hardworking committee members, actively working away voluntarily. These two fantastic clubs always put their players first and foremost.

People forge lasting relationships through sports, day in and day out. These two I snapped out litter picking one morning and , it occurred to me that they’re both in and out of the town respectively. Give or take a 20 minute walk or five minute drive Ballybofey United and TheButtHall TennisClub are steadily growing and, like all clubs and associations need a wee show of appreciation now and again. Incidentally the Tennis club requires a part time groundskeeper if you want to check it out on their page.

Epic Drumboe Woods:

That event horizon where light has escaped and, the foliage ejects out all its colours - awaiting the eager eye . It draws the camera from your pocket and lures you in to see the beauty that is mother nature’s sublime pallette.
I seen one native red squirrel scampering up the back of the tree, but too quick to snap. But it was good to see it nonetheless 😀
