Champions of the Queen Maeve Cup 2026!

We are thrilled to bring the Queen Maeve Cup home to Ireland Chess Technology! It was a fantastic weekend filled with great club camaraderie and fighting spirit across the boards.

Our squad managed to win all five of our matches, finishing the weekend with a massive 18.5 out of 20 board points. We faced some truly formidable opponents along the way. A huge thank you to MTU Chess, Churchtown, Bray/Greystones, Dublin, and Blanchardstown for the tough and enjoyable games.

A special word of thanks goes to the Knights of Éanna Chess Club Knights of Éanna for hosting us and making sure the entire event ran perfectly smoothly. Finally, it was a great honor to be presented with the trophy by Irish Chess Union Chairperson Desmond Beatty at the closing ceremony.
